QUESTIONS:

1. Based from the case study of Hannah Baker, How are you going to respond/act as a
teacher-counselor in her case? Discuss your answer.

No, I will do the Nondirective counseling because it has several advantages that make it a
popular form of therapy. Firstly, it is client-centered, which means that the client is in control of
the therapy session. This approach helps the client feel empowered and take responsibility for
their own healing process. Secondly, nondirective counseling is rooted in the belief that humans
are fundamentally good and capable of growth and change. This creates a positive and non-
judgmental environment that encourages the client to explore their emotions and thoughts.
Additionally, nondirective counseling allows the client to find their own solutions. This approach
can help clients develop better problem-solving skills, gain self-awareness and self-acceptance,
and improve their overall mental health. Overall, the benefits of nondirective counseling make it
a valuable tool for therapists and individuals seeking emotional support.
