A. Course Design

Course Title: AGRICULTURAL CROPS PRODUCTION


Nominal Duration: 302 hours
Qualification Level: NC I
Course Description: This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable skills and attitudes
of Agricultural Crops Production NC l in accordance with industry
standards. It covers basic, common and core competencies in the
production of crops such as rice, vegetables, fruits and nuts as well as
many others.

Trainee Entry Trainees or students wishing to enroll in this course should possess the
following requirements.
Requirements: Able to read and write;
With good moral character;
Ability to communicate, both oral and written
Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public
Health Officer

Qualification of Instructors/Trainers:
 Must be a holder of Agricultural Crops Production NC II or its equivalent
 Must have undergone training on Training Methodology I (TM I)
 Must be computer literate
 Must be physically and mentally fit
 *Must have at least 2 years job/industry experience
 Must be a civil service eligible (for government position or appropriate professional
license issued by the Professional Regulatory Commission)
