Lesson 2. Activity No. 2
1. What particular Components of Physical Fitness are being developed when
playing the game? Specify and Explain.
-I think one of the important components of Physical Fitness that is being developed in
this game which is Piko is our balance. Balance is under the skill-related components.
Balance is required in this game because there are single boxes that needed one foot
only to move forward and when getting the “pamato” in a single box. Balance can
improve stability and help prevent falls or injuries. It can strengthen the muscles that
help you to keep upright, including your legs and core.

2. How’s your feeling when you are playing the game?

- When we played the game piko, I felt happy and refreshed about this game because
it brings back the memories together with my childhood friends during my elementary
days. We played on the streets and in the backyard of our houses. In our time “step
bado” is the name that we used instead of Piko. However, Piko and step bado are
different based on the design and how to determine who will go to play first. In Piko,
there is a line in box number five, if the players “Pamato” are to that line. He/She is the
first to play the game. While the “Step bado” we do jack en poy to determine who will
going to play first. Piko’s design is “tongue-shaped” while step bado is “dress shaped”.
And the rest mechanics were similar to one another. This game was a good exercise,
stress reliever, and requires a lot of focus, balance, and strength to win in this game.
