Dear Mrs. Pamela Pajente:

Greetings of Peace and Solidarity!

We trust this letter finds you in good health. We, Group 1 from STEM 12 - Thomas,
comprising 9 members from Xavier University Senior High School, are writing to formally
request the temporary loan of specific laboratory equipment for an upcoming collaborative
experiment integral to our ongoing research project.

The equipment we are seeking to borrow is two Hot Plates, identified as crucial for the
success of our experiment. Our research is centered around Oryza sativa (Rice) and Solanum
tuberosum (Potato) Starch-based Bioplastics as Potential Alternatives for Petroleum-
based Plastics. The experiment in question aims to test the different properties of the made
bioplastics (biodegradability rate, heat resistance, and tensile strength) and conclude which
bioplastic is a better alternative to petroleum-based plastics.

Borrowing Details:
 Duration: February 5, 2023 - May 15, 2023

We assure you that the equipment will be used solely for academic and research purposes and
will be handled with the utmost care and responsibility by our group members. Recognizing
the importance of this equipment to your institution, we are prepared to adhere to any terms
and conditions regarding its loan.

We believe that our research aligns with the goals of Xavier University and will contribute
positively to the scientific community.

We kindly request your consideration of our request. If there are any additional forms or
procedures required, please inform us promptly, and we will fulfill all requirements.

Thank you for considering our request. We are excited about the potential collaboration and
appreciate your support in advancing scientific research.

With gratitude,

MARIAN TAGAPULOT
