Aringay District 2024 Science Quest Unveils Boundless Horizons of Science

The Aringay District 2024 Science Quest, held at San Benito Elementary School,
unfolded as an inspiring journey through the realms of scientific exploration. The theme,
"Navigating tomorrow’s frontiers: Unveiling the boundless horizons of Science," set the tone for
a day filled with curiosity, intellect, and innovation.

The event commenced with a solemn prayer and the rendition of patriotic songs through a
captivating audio-visual presentation. The presenters, Ma'am Crisalyn L. Estoesta and Venjovie
A. Manuel, skillfully guided the audience through the opening rituals, setting an energetic and
enthusiastic atmosphere for the day ahead.

Ma'am Carmencita B. Parrocha, Head Teacher III of Pangao-aoan East Elementary School, took
the stage for the Opening Remarks. She emphasized the significance of the Science Quest in
fostering a love for learning and scientific inquiry among the students. Her words resonated with
the audience, instilling a sense of purpose and anticipation for the day's activities. Then, Sir
Aldrin P. Gagarao, Head Teacher II of San Benito Elementary School, extended a warm
Welcome to all participants, teachers, and guests. He expressed his gratitude for the collective
effort in making the Science Quest a reality, highlighting the importance of collaborative
initiatives in promoting education.

The Roll Call, conducted by Ma'am Ermelita M. Dulay, Master Teacher II of Dulao Integrated
School, added a touch of camaraderie to the event. The participants, representing various schools
in the district, responded with enthusiasm, showcasing the unity and diversity within the Aringay
educational community.

Following this, the audience was treated to insightful Messages from Ma'am Aidena L. Nuesca,
Ph.D., Public Schools District Supervisor, and Sir Rominel S. Sobremonte, Ed.D., EPS in
Science. Both speakers emphasized the pivotal role of science in shaping the future and
encouraged students to embrace the challenges of exploration and discovery.

The Contest Proper commenced after the program, featuring Science Quiz competitions across
different grade levels, Essay Writing in both English and Filipino, and Collage Making. The
participants, armed with their intellect and creativity, engaged in friendly competition,
demonstrating their passion for science. Ma'am Teresita M. Parina, Master Teacher II of San
Benito Elementary School, took the stage to articulate the Contest Guidelines and Criteria for
Judging. Clear and concise, her presentation laid the groundwork for the participants who were
eagerly waiting to showcase their knowledge and creativity.
In the afternoon session, the event transitioned to the Awarding Ceremony. Certificates were
distributed to all participants, recognizing their dedication and participation. Special
acknowledgment was given to the winners who excelled in their respective categories, reflecting
the exceptional talent within the Aringay District. Afterwards, Ma’am Josephine C. Garcia,
Master Teacher I of Pangao-aoan West Elementary School, expressed her gratitude to everyone
who contributed to the success of the Science Quest. She emphasized the enduring impact of
such events on the academic and personal development of students, fostering a lifelong love for
science.

The Aringay District 2024 Science Quest concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression
on the minds of all attendees. The boundless horizons of science were indeed unveiled,
