SURFACE SCHEDULING

The MineSched Surface Scheduling course is a three day
course designed to give users a basic understanding of how
to set up an open pit schedule, perform some reporting
functions and define material flow. The course will look at
how to create both long term and short term schedules for
open pit mines inside of the program.
COURSE PREREQUISITES
Before taking this course, you require the following:
⋅ Knowledge of file management
⋅ Knowledge of ASCII format files and

Microsoft Excel
The MineSched menu structure and graphical user interface
(GUI) are similar to most Windows-based packages and
therefore a basic knowledge of the Windows operating
system and environment is necessary.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, you will be able
to accomplish the following:
⋅ Set up Data file structures
⋅ Structure input data to meet schedule requirements
(3 DAYS)
⋅ Setup block model and material classifications
⋅ Define production locations (constraints and mining
method)
⋅ Define resources, mining rates, delays and priorities
