smart Irrigation System

diagram of sensors and components :->

Soil Moisture Sensor:
1. It is also called by a name (SMSs) Soil Moisture Sensor.
2. It has 2 probes with exposed contacts that act like a
variable resistor.
3. It measure soil moisture at the root zone and regulate the
existing conventional irrigation timer.

Water Pump:
4. It is used to move, compress, or transfer water from a
lower level to a higher one.
5. The main purpose of a water pump is to transfer water
between two points and to get irrigation.
6. It is often used in construction sites, tunnels, river beds,
residential buildings, etc.
Relay:
7. It is electrically operted switches that open and close the
circuits by receiving electical signals from outside sources.
8. It plays the role of automatic adjustment, safety
protection and conversion circuit.
9. It is cheap, easy to use and easily available in market.

Future Scope:->
10. This smart irrigation system extends watering
time for plants, and provides ideal growth condition.

11. smart irrigation systems could be connected to

other IoT devices, such as weather sensors and soil
moisture sensors, to optimize water usage even
further.
