Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 can be used with the following ADS versions:

o SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SP-14 (or higher)

o SAP EhP1 for NetWeaver 7.0

o SAP NetWeaver 7.1 SP-4 (or higher)

o SAP NetWeaver 7.1 CE SP-3 (or higher)

For developing forms in AS ABAP, you need following SAP GUI patch (SAP Note
864634):

o SAP GUI 620 Patch level 56 or higher

o SAP GUI 640 Patch level 12 or higher

o SAP GUI 710 any patch level

o SAP GUI 720 any patch level

Marketplace:

Application Group
-> SAP NetWeaver and complementary products
-> SAP NETWEAVER
-> SAP NETWEAVER 7.0
-> Installation and Upgrade
-> <Choose any OS and DB combination.>

Download file '50098620_1 NW 7.0 Presentation - Adobe LiveCycle Designer

8.0' and extract it to your local hard drive.

Stand-Alone Installation
1. Uninstall older version of Adobe LiveCycle Designer

First, you need to uninstall all older versions of Adobe LiveCycle

Designer (6.0/7.0/7.1). As Adobe LiveCycle Designer may have been
installed in any of several ways, uninstall it according to the
corresponding description below.

o Adobe LiveCycle Designer was installed using the Designer installer

Go to: Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> SAP Interactive
Forms -> Select 'Change/Remove' option.

If you cannot see the 'SAP Interactive Forms' item under Add and
Remove Programs, Adobe LiveCycle Designer was installed with SAP
GUI or the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

o Adobe LiveCycle Designer was installed with SAP GUI

Select 'SAP Front End' from the list in 'Add or Remove Programs',
select 'Change', deactivate 'Interactive Forms' and continue.

o Adobe LiveCycle Designer was installed with SAP NetWeaver Developer

Studio

Select 'SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio' from the list in 'Add or

Remove Programs', select 'Change', deactivate 'Interactive Forms',
and continue.

2. Install Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0

After uninstalling previous versions of Adobe LiveCycle Designer,

you can start the installation of release 8.0 by double-clicking
the 'SapAldSetup.exe' file from the extracted files.

SAP GUI Server Integration

Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 is only supported with 710/720 SAPGUI server.
For integrating to 710/720 SAPGUI server, refer to SAP Front End
Installation Guide (Chapter Adding new SAP Front End Components to an
existing Installation Server)
