Calibration process

When will you make the calibration …

Reason1: Change the camera.
Reason2: Move the camera position.
Reason3: Most cars measurement with same
wrong phenomenon, like steering wheel
pulling to same side, big toe values or
camber values and so on .
 CALIBRATION PROCESS

1. install the calibration system according to the

manual:

2. open the software, choose the system settings.

3. Click “Ctrl” + “Alt” in the keyboard.

4. Open the F11 to check the camera view, keep the
calibration system in correct height.

Steps:
Adjust the platform to the required position, and put the
calibration system on the left platform (same direction
with the car). Small target plate in the front close to
turntable, big target
plate in the back. Keep the two
targets clearly shown in the
camera view center.

5. Click
"Continue", then it will show
NO.1.
 CALIBRATION PROCESS
6. Click “Continue”, then it will show No.2.

Note: Inaccuracy Left:8 Right :24

Stand for the Calibration target conditions. For this number, smaller is better.
Usually the number is less than 30. If the number beyond 100, the calibration
will be stopped.

7. move the bigger calibration target outward 5cm, then
click “Continue”.

8. Put the calibration system on the right side

platform, just the same as the left one. Then
click “Continue” to show from NO.3 to
NO.4. after that, move the rear bigger target
inside about 5cm. If it shows “error”,
please calibrate again, and make sure when
you move, keep slowly and lightly.
then click “Continue” .

9. put the calibration system across the left

and right of the platform, small target placed
in the front near to the turntable, big one
placed in the rear, keeping the bar 45
degree.

10. adjust the two targets position to be shown
clearly in the two camera view.

11. Click “Continue” to No.6 step.
 CALIBRATION PROCESS
12. Keep the bar with 45 °angle and move the two targets
together to rear direction 10cm.

Then click “Continue to go to No.7 step.

13. Repeat the No.12 step procedure, move the two
targets to rear side again, … Totally eight times.

13. After final 12 steps, it will show you “OK”. Click it, then
calibration finish.

14. Restart the software and then it will be finished.
