To whom it may concern,

I had the pleasure of working with Meaghan Lavack over several months while she was a teacher candidate in my
Grade 12 Psychology course. In and out of the classroom, Meaghan has shown the ability to establish an excellent
rapport with students and teachers. She made an excellent team teacher. She is genuinely interested in moving
student learning forward and ensuring that students are well prepared and able to demonstrate their success.

Meaghan is extremely organized, well prepared, and is consistently focused on delivering the most engaging course
content. She managed to fit into the classroom routine in a seamless way and students gravitated towards her
while she was in the classroom. I knew that the students were in good hands when she was delivering a lesson. She
took constructive criticism and suggestions well, and continued to show growth throughout the time that she was
with me. These qualities will assist her with collaboration in her both teaching and future leadership positions.

Meaghan is passionately committed to the teaching profession, and she didn’t hesitate to get involved in school run
activities that enrich the school community as a whole. She was an active member of our school’s GSA club. Her
friendly disposition and quick smile make her easy to approach and get along with, and the students felt
comfortable with her. She works well as part of a team and she will be a strong addition to any school division.

Meaghan’s teaching style is a natural one and throughout her teaching block she guided students along in every
step of the learning process. Her questioning styles are well-crafted, relevant, and naturally delivered, and the
students were quick to respond to share their thoughts and opinions. Although not a class she was tasked with
teaching, she joined me and my law students on a field trip to the law courts, where we observed hearings and
criminal trials and took part in a tour of the building. I appreciated her assistance and genuine interest that day.

I think very highly of Meaghan and recommend her without reservation for employment or any other endeavors
she chooses to pursue. Please let me know if you have any further questions about Meaghan’s teaching capabilities.
I look very forward to hearing about her future accomplishments as she is sure to shine as an educator.

Sincerely,

A. Dennis
