Instructional Planning

(The process of systematically planning, developing, evaluating, and managing the instructional process
by using principales of teaching nad learning - D.O. 42 s. 2016)

Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP)

DLP No.: Learning Area: Grade Level: Quarter: Duration: Date:
1 Mathematics 10 1st 50 minutes October 12, 2023
Learning Competency/cies Code:
Solves problems involving sequences.
(taken from the Curriculum Guide) M10AL-If-2

Some real-life situations require the application of sequences. Arithmetic sequence is

present almost in all aspects of our lives and we must be aware how it can be used in our
Key Concepts/ daily lives. One example is when you are waiting for a bus, assuming that the traffic is
Understanding to be moving at a constant speed you can predict when the next bus will come. Same goes
Developed with geometric sequence. An example of geometric sequence in real life is the
multiplication of bacteria. We have also experienced that geometric series can be used
to calculate how much money you have saved in the bank.

Adapted Cognitive Process Objective

With the use of a short video presentation, the learners will be asked to listen and jot
down important informations they may get from video. After, with the guidance of the
teacher, they will alltogether find what is being asked in the problem.
4.5 Application
To apply the concept the learners have just acquired, they will be doing a group activity
which will encouargae collaboration within their group. They will be given an envelope
with problems and tasks inside it. After 5 minutes, the teacher will be calling 3 groups
10 minutes randomly (using an online spinner) to share their activity to everyone.
(Refer to Attachment 1 for the problems that they will be solving.)

4.6 Assessment
Choose and encircle the letter that you think best answers the question. Show your
solution.
