This manual helps you get familiar with engraving machine equipment, understand
the composition of equipment control system, operation process and daily
maintenance.
This manual for the random technical documents, is you the correct use of
guidance documents, the safe operation of the engraving machine, to give full play
to the carving machine performance, ensure the safety of the user equipment,
before the installation, use, please read this manual carefully, and learn more about
engraving machine security considerations, install the running parameters Settings,
exception diagnosis and maintenance and other such matters that will help you to
better grasp and use it.

Precautions before use:


1. Unpack and check whether the selected equipment model matches and whether
the accessories are complete.
2.The equipment base is placed on the ground smoothly.
3.The attached accessories are installed correctly.
4.It is strictly prohibited to use this equipment in the environment of strong
interference and strong magnetism.Working environment temperature 0 to 40 ℃,
humidity 0-90% (no condensation).
5.Strictly prohibit metal, dust and other conductive materials into the distribution
box, the control card is located in the computer box.
6.The equipment bed should be connected with grounding wire to ensure work
safety and prevent interference.
7.Pay attention to the use of water, dust, fire prevention.
8.Do not use corrosive chemical solvents for circulating cooling spindle or cutter
head.
9.The carving knife is very sharp, please do not touch it with your hand during
operation to avoid injury;Also do not use handkerchief, silk towel contact, lest be
involved in cause injury.

10.Carry out equipment maintenance under manufacturer's authorization.

Chapter One Summarize
一 .Machine inspection arrived your factory

Engraving machine in the factory, after strict testing and packaging treatment, but
considering the various factors in transit may cause damage to the product, so after
the arrival of goods, please check the following matters, if there is any abnormality,
please contact the product dealer or the company's relevant personnel.
1.Make sure the machine is not damaged or deformed by transportation.
2.One engraving machine,one list of accessories, and count the number and
category of accessories according to the list.
3.Is there any abnormality or foreign matter in the machine.

二. Notices
Note: Be sure to read carefully in case of accidents.
1. The machine should be fixed on the smooth ground to keep the machine
level and not shake.
2. Connect the power supply at the specified voltage.
3.Spindle speed is high, so the operator must wear work clothes, wear a hat,
gloves and emission is strictly prohibited.
4.When the machine is working, the staff should keep a certain distance from
the machine, and it is forbidden to touch the moving parts such as the cutting head.
5. Before cleaning the machine, please turn off the external power of the
machine, wipe with dry cloth, and use anti-rust oil.
6.Maintenance failure must be carried out under the power failure.
7.The machine must be reliably grounded before use.
8.Do not put the power cord of the machine in a place where it is easily
trampled.
9.Do not separate circuit breaker and socket from electrical equipment.
10.Do not put anything into the machine, or it may cause electric shock or
short-circuit parts, which may lead to fire or electric shock danger.
11.Avoid using during lightning.

四. Installation and adjustment of the whole machine


1.Move the machine tool to the pre-planned position (according to the weight of the
machine tool to choose the crane or forklift), do not use hand lift, so as not to cause
danger!Adjust the four feet of the machine, so that the four feet on the ground
smoothly and evenly, (no adjustable feet of the machine please use other methods
to pad flat,) and make the table in a horizontal state.
2. Remove packaging film
In general, there is wrapping film on the machine body. Be careful to remove them.
Do not try to open the software package with sharp objects to avoid damage to the
machine.
3.Lube oil is added to the leading screw and guide rail and other moving
mechanism respectively.
4. Ground wire connection
The machine tool must be well grounded, otherwise the machine tool may not work
normally due to electrostatic influence, or
A serious accident happened.The production and connection method of ground
wire: a 2m steel bar is directly injected into the ground, and 10 liters of salt water is
poured into the surrounding area. Then the upper end is cut with a file to remove
rust and weld 4 square wires. The other end is connected to the grounding terminal
of the electronic control cabinet of the machine tool.
5. Installation of water cooling pump
After connecting the water pump accessories, connect one of the two water pipes
on the machine to the water pump, and put the other pipe into the bucket.
Add anti-rust agent or anti-rust oil into the water tank after the cooling water, pay
attention to the cooling water must use soft water (after adding softener tap water,
purified water, distilled water), do not use unsoftened tap water and mineral water,

otherwise in the motor water circulation channel is easy to deposit scale, causing
blockage.
The pump power supply is connected to 220V power supply.
1. Install the NC Studio software on the computer, close the computer and insert
the control card into the PCI slot of the computer motherboard. Restart the
computer and install the driver according to the prompts.Open the dimension macro
software, according to the random parameter table, set the parameters into the
software.(Vendor parameter command:NCSTUDIO).

7. Connect to the main power supply.

After ensuring that all parts of the machine are installed correctly, insert one end of
the power cord into the power supply of the machine, close the switch in the
cabinet, loosen the emergency stop, and press the start button to power up the
machine.
Note:Before machine processing, clean the table with a bottom
knife;Each boot back to the mechanical origin.

Chapter Two Control System: NC studio

一. Computer requirements
Computer Host: PCI Slot/PCIE Slots 1
System:windows XP or windows7 32 Bit
Other configuration computer can achieve basically now, need not describe
again.
Software Installation
1. Insert the CD, find Ncstudio installation package in the CD, and double-click to
extract it.
2. Find it in the unzipped folder, double-click it to run and install the software.
3. Driver installation. After installation( The control card has been installed in the
mainframe),Right-click on my computer→Select properties→Select hardware

from the system properties→Select device manager.

Right-click and select scan to detect hardware changes (A),Pop up new hardware
wizard, search to PCI card - default click next - automatic installation of PCI card
driver - installation complete.
If you want to install the software first, you need to turn off the computer and then
open the control card of the cabinet installation. Then, the new hardware wizard will
pop up automatically when you open the window.

4.Vendor parameter setting, open the software, click system parameter to vendor
parameter.

Command: NCSTUDIO,According to the random parameter table, set the


parameters into the software.

After setting up, the machine can be moved after being powered on.
Note: Be sure to click apply after modifying the parameters.

Chapter Three Path Make
一 .Introduction to basic concepts of sculpture
The computer engraving machine receives the instructions issued by the computer,
controls the linear linkage of X, Y and Z axes, drives the high-speed rotating cutter
to move on the material, and obtains the desired carving or cutting effect.Engraving
is divided into Yin engraving and Yang engraving according to the effect.
Cutting refers to cutting material along the outline of words or patterns, and
different from carving, the material after cutting is separated into several parts.
Engraving software can design the required graphics, text, and so on, and then
according to the requirements, generate a variety of tool movement trajectory, to
the engraving machine output.This movement path is called the sculpting path.

二. Common Software
1. JDpaint
NC Studio software is not compatible with eng files carved fine, need to use
the nuocheng converter into nc code, and then import into the wei hong
software, processing.

三. Cutting tool selection
When processing different materials and different hardness objects, in order
to ensure the processing efficiency and the processing effect, it is necessary
to select appropriate machining tools.Users can set and name their own
tools.
For different knives, according to the diameter of the knife, blade length, etc.,
to choose the appropriate carving speed (feed speed).

Chapter four Material fixation and processing


1. Place material level off above all go up in engrave machine workbench face, with
pressing board material is secured.
2. Locate the origin of the workpiece, select manual mode, and click these buttons
with the left mouse button to control the movement of the engraving machine.

The origin is generally at the lower left corner (according to the software setting).
Move the machine to the lower left corner, and the cutter just touches the
material surface, as shown in the figure:

Set the workpiece origin , X.Y.ZCoordinate of three axis workpiece is


cleared to zero.

Open and load the required processing files. After loading, take a look at the

simulation ,Check whether the path is correct, if there is no error, click the

simulation button again to cancel the simulation, adjust the feed rate (start as

slowly as possible, speed up after normal), and click the start button ,start
processing.

Chapter five Common faults and maintenance of engraving machine


1. Engraving machine daily continuous operation time should be within 12 hours, at
the same time to ensure that the cooling water is clean (pure water is the best) and
the pump work normally, must not make water cooling spindle motor water
shortage phenomenon, regular replacement of cooling water, in case the water
temperature is too high.In winter, if the working environment temperature is too low,
you can replace the cooling water in the tank with antifreeze.

2. Engraving machine after each boot to return to the mechanical origin, after each
use to pay attention to cleaning, be sure to clean the dust on the platform and the
transmission system, and regularly (for example, weekly) on the transmission
system X, Y, Z axis lubrication oil.(note: X, Y, Z three axis guide rail with oil
maintenance;Screw part with high speed butter;In winter, if the working
environment temperature is too low, you should first wash and clean with gasoline,
and then add oil, otherwise it will cause extreme transmission part resistance is too
large and cause dislocation of the machine).

3.During the maintenance and inspection of engraving mechanical and electrical


gas, the power supply must be cut off until the display is not displayed and the
power indicator light of the main circuit is off.

4. Engraving machine can not work normally, may be the internal components of
the problem or other aspects of the reason, the following often appear on the issue
of the general introduction.

(1)One of the three axes of the engraving machine does not move. It is
necessary to check whether the drive corresponding to the corresponding axis

is damaged.The inspection method can be replaced by unplugging the plug of
the drive corresponding to the fixed shaft and inserting it into the drive
corresponding to other active shafts. If the original fixed shaft can move
normally after exchange, it indicates that the drive corresponding to the shaft is
damaged and needs to be replaced.If it does not move, the cable or motor is out
of order and needs to be replaced.Check whether the three-axis plug has been
connected with the control box and whether the power supply of the control box
is turned on.Whether the data line is connected to the control box and the
control card of the computer host.If all above are normal, please contact the
factory.

(2)The spindle cannot operate normally. First, check the error code displayed
on the LED screen of the frequency converter.

5. Main shaft motor common faults and treatment

(1) When the motor is hot, check whether the pump is working and whether
the circulating water is normal.

(2) Check whether the motor line is out of phase and the cable is short
power.

( 3)Motor sound abnormal motor overload operation, motor internal fault.

(4)Invert the motor to check whether the motor line is invert phase. Invert any
two phases of U, V and W.
