Mount Kanlaon

Butuan City, then a flight to Bacolod City. From there, take a bus or van to Murcia Town,
which is 40 kilometers away and takes 1.5 hours. From there, hire a local guide or arrange
transportation to the mountain's base, which is 20 kilometers away and takes 30 minutes to
1 hour.

Things to prepare
To ensure a safe and enjoyable hike to Mount Kanlaon, prepare the following items and
wear appropriate attire:

 Hiking essentials: Bring a backpack with essentials like a map, compass, flashlight,
first-aid kit, multi-tool, whistle, extra batteries, and a lighter or matches.

snacks or meals to keep you hydrated and nourished during the hike.
 Proper clothing: Wear moisture-wicking, quick-drying clothing layers to adapt to
