Introduction
Have you ever wondered how do you survive if you found yourself alone in the wilderness?
Would you know how to create your shelter? Find edible food or clean drinking water? Would
you know how to track where you are going and where you have been? In 21 Century, Most
people they aware that the importance of personal health care and tried to have good habits to
prevent illnesses happened in their life. Do we know the true meaning of health care let’s find
out, Health care means is the improvement of health through prevention, diagnosis, treatment,
amelioration or cure of disease, illness, injury, and so on. As the saying goes, prevention is better
than cure without ignoring your personal health care.
In the Year 2020, The Unprecedented pandemic that was happened worldwide

State Government Selangor has allocated Rm65.6 million as the budget for Public Health. There
were a few free healthcare for all of the Selangor citizens such as Health Insurance Programmes, Health
Screenings, Mental Health Programmes, food Basket nutrition programs for children, and free sanitary
pads for girls and women. All healthcare benefits for Selangor citizens and the state government try to
maintain the high quality of welfare and conservancy Public Health.

First and Foremost, Free Health Insurance Programmes, With the state government's newly introduced
Insan general insurance programme, SIX MILLION Selangor residents and registered voters would be
insured. Menteri Besar Selangor Inc. (MBI), the state's government organisation, developed the Insan
group general insurance coverage programme. It is available to anyone from the age of one month (30
days) to 80 years old. The Wavpay e-wallet app, which can be downloaded via the iTunes Store, Google
Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery, is now officially open for registration for coverage.

Yesterday (Oct. 23), Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari announced the launch of the
Selangor Penyayang tour at Sultan Suleiman Stadium in Klang. He said: "We started our nine-district tour
in June of this year at Hulu Langat with the goal of empowering Selangorians by fostering job
opportunities and economic growth. With initiatives that aren't just concerned with welfare but also
with giving Selangorians the skills and resources they need to survive and prosper, the objective is to
build a compassionate state and society. A total of 44 programs are included in this year's Selangor
Penyayang tour, including a variety of assistance, projects, and services from various government
departments and affiliates in the areas of health, education, housing, entrepreneurship (or small
companies), and child care. The most recent version of these programmes, known as Insan, intends to
provide coverage for Selangorians in case of emergencies. With the six million citizens who are eligible,
Insan will cover at least 90% of the country's 6.56 million inhabitants.

In Addition, The 2023 health budget for Selangor additionally allocates RM 5 million for financial
assistance through the 2009-founded Bantuan Selangor Sihat.

The Bantuan Selangor Sihat programme provides financial aid of up to RM5,000 to help with the
expense of medical treatments such as renal dialysis, eye cataract surgery, minor surgery, cancer
therapy, thalassemia treatment, and the purchase of specific medical equipment.

The state government would also keep up its programme (Skim Rawatan Jantung Negeri Selangor) for
treating heart illness, which provides qualified groups with free heart treatment services. The initiative
will get RM5 million from the state government in 2023. Whereas secondary prevention emphasises
early disease identification, primary prevention focuses on preventing the development of a disease.

The Selangor Saring health screening programme was launched by the state government this year and
was made available to all 56 constituencies in the state.

The Selangor Saring programme includes screening for cancers like breast, cervical, colorectal, and
prostate cancer as well as eye conditions like myopia, glaucoma, and retina. It also includes screening for
three types of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including diabetes, kidney disease, and heart
disease.

Selangor Saring has received 54,640 registration and screening applications for a variety of exams since
its implementation in May 2022, with a 66% attendance rate of participants at the program location.

Last but not empathically least, The state government is also important for the health of girls and
women. This is in light of the fact that In the rural area, most of the underprivileged people did not have
any knowledge regarding how to clean and make themselves stay healthy during the period coming so
the state government will give assistance to them to ensure that they have a good habit to maintain
their body health.
