Hyva under body cylinders are renowned for their strength, durability and lifting force. Since 1985 Hyva has
produced an own range of under body tipping cylinders. The cylinders can be used for 3-way and rear-end tipping
installations.

Standard features of the Hyva UM range

l High working pressure of 220 bar
l Available on the market
l Superior stop rings allow faster tipping
l Lifting force ranges from 6 to 32 tons
l Available in ball and eye version
l Interchangeable with most common under body cylinders
l The UM 149 and 169 cradles incorporate the option to fit a knock off directly on the cradle
l The stroke listed already takes into account a 20 mm free space (pull out) for the fully lowered cylinder when
mounted
l The hydraulic connection is ½ʺ for the UM 110-129 and ¾ʺ for the 149-169 types

Fitting a Hyva under body cylinder ensures a high lifting force and allows for a flexible way of unloading. In
combination with Hyva 3-way tipping balls the body can be tipped sideways and to the rear. Hyva advises at all
times to fit the cylinder with a cradle and a knock off. For UMB 149 and 169 cylinders Hyva offers the possibility to
order the cylinder cradle with an integrated pneumatic knock off and two weldable brackets.

Tipping weight is calculated at 275 bar, maximum pressure is 300 bar. All cylinders are delivered with a ¾” BSPOT
adapter.
