EARTHQUAKE DISASTER PROCEDURE

1. OBJECTIVE
Ensure that every incident has a quick, precise and accurate actions in Earthquake disaster
management
2. SCOPE
Procedure This tells the process started earthquake disaster begin and after disaster

3. DEFINITION
 Floor Warden : People in charge (emergency response team) to assist employees
direct and assist to safe place
 Assembly Point : Safe assembly point which people will be gathered here
 OM : Office Managers
 TL : Team Leaders
 PIC : People in Charge

5. DESCRIPTION OF PROCEDURE

Victim/Employees 1 PIC : Employee Quick
- Report incident to TL/OM/GA/Security

Lead Floor 2 PIC : GA Lead, GA Staff


Warden - Direct security, and cleaners, and OM to show
emergency exits, towards safe gathering
points and make sure they are okay.
- Ensure the time frame, and safe condition for
back to working area (it will assist by each TL)
Floor Warden 1 3 PIC : Security
- He/she will assist all employees from 23 rd
Floor to Assembly Point .
- Coordinate with security building Voza to
ensure muster point is safe and access is fine.
Floor Warden 2 4 PIC : All cleaners / office boy
- Open permanently emergency exit doors,
- Help and support woman first, difable or
pregant employees to muster point
Floor Warden 3 5 PIC : Office Manager and TL’s
- Assist and ensure their team being safe while
evacuated from working area to assembly
point and also back to working area.
6. Implementation of Evacuation Procedure

1. Immediately leave the building according to the instructions of the emergency


response evacuation team or follow the directions of the evacuation route/exit signs,
do not return for any reason.
2. Get off or run to following the exit signs (don’t use lift), don't panic, help each other
to ensure a safe evacuation.
3. Women employees are not allowed to use high heels and stockings during
evacuation.
4. Floor warden 2 Give assistance to people who are disabled or women who are
pregnant.
5. Gathered in a predetermined safe area (Assembly Point), continued to gather while
waiting for further instructions, the supervisor of the Floor warden assisted by their
respective superiors recorded the number of employees, including those missing and
injured and then reported it to the coordinator.

During Earthquake
In the room
- Protect your head with your hands, bag or other light object, hide/take cover under a
sturdy table, and in the corner of a building column (triangle of life), away from glass

After Earthquake
- After the earthquake stops, get up immediately while protecting your head, and
evacuate yourself via the agreed evacuation route to the gathering point by prioritizing
the vulnerable or injured groups
- Once at the gathering point, keep your head protected and squat, stay away from tall
buildings, electric poles and large trees
- Floor warden /TLs/Manager checks the employees at the gathering point and
immediately reports to the search, rescue and evacuation to security building.
- Keep away from nearby buildings (buildings, electric poles, trees, etc.)
- Pay attention to the footing and avoid if there is a crack in the ground
