➢it is the process by which values are formed in the learner under the
guidance of the teacher and as he interacts with the environment.

➢ A person’s principles or standards of behavior
➢ One’s judgement of what is important in life.

Value
A thing has value when it is perceived as good and desirable.
➢ Food, money, and housing.
What is Community Service

Community Service
▪ A service that is performed for the benefit of the public
or its institution.
▪ refers to service that a person performs for the benefit
of his or her local community.

▪ Hands-on activities directly benefiting others.


What is Service Learning

It is a teaching and learning strategy that


integrates meaningful community service
with instruction and reflection to enrich the
learning experiences, teach civic
responsibility, and strengthen communities.
