Don't Want to Be an Average Teacher

Enter class - Teaching - Leave Class. And continue its activities. Well, that's normal! That is, it is
the obligation of a teacher. Because being ordinary will make it difficult for us as teachers to
develop our qualities.
Only completely aborting teaching hours every day, creativity slowly closes the ability of a
teacher, you know! It seems that later it can be felt directly by students. Students will quickly
feel bored with learning activities in class. Never mind students, ourselves as teachers who also
know this, such as being bored with teaching, tired because of the same routine, and even excited
about going to class.
So, don't want to be an ordinary teacher. For being a master job teacher! Being a teacher is a
noble profession because a teacher needs sincerity, seriousness, and sincerity when teaching
students. The mandate is heavy, you know, that is intelligent or intelligent human intelligence
and morals.
To become an unusual teacher with abilities above the average of other teachers, then developing
yourself is an obligation that must be done by the teacher. The main thing to develop yourself is
to make a target commitment as a teacher. Make sure, the target commitment made can continue
to challenge and prepare to do more.
"How do teachers want to do more, if they are almost busy working with lesson plans and other
administration?"
"How do teachers want to do more, if the facilities are inadequate in class / school?" Etc. Relax,
that question can be answered, if the mindset of our goals as teachers is right.
The most likely answer is to be a creative teacher. Teachers who really pay attention to other
aspects in supporting the quality of learning activities in class.
As the opinion (Soekartini, 1995) from his book entitled Increasing Teaching Effectiveness that
teaching is an art (art), because teaching requires inspiration, intuition, and creativity.
Creative is an ability possessed by a person (or group of people) that allows them to find new
breakthroughs in dealing with certain situations or problems which are usually reflected in
solving problems in a new or unique way, different, and better than before (Agus S.
Madjadikara, 2005).
So, a creative teacher is a teacher who is able to optimally actualize and express all the abilities
he has in order to foster and educate students well. Because a smart and creative teacher will
produce intelligent and creative student output as well.
But, Why Be a Creative Teacher?
If there is no more reason than to explore all the potential and abilities that teachers have.
Because creativity is one of the most important assets that teachers must have to provide colors
in their classes.
Teachers are lifelong learners. Those who must keep trying to keep up to date with the times, so
that their thinking horizons will open and get a lot of information and inspiration to carry out
creative learning activities. So, there is no more reason to stop because you are tired of exploring
yourself.
