The Grade 12 students of Paliparan III Senior High School under the HUMSS Strand are taking
up Community Engagement, Solidarity and Citizenship-subject this second semester. It focuses
on the application of initiatives as guided by the core values of human rights, social justice,
empowerment and advocacy, gender equality, and participatory development.

Hence, this letter intends to ask the permission of your good office to please allow us to conduct
interview in your barangay on ____________ (date). The goals of the said activity are to enhance
one’s sense of shared identity and willingness to contribute to the pursuit of the common good of
the community and to enable us to integrate applied social sciences into community action
initiatives. Attached therewith is the sample Community Profile Mapping Template to be utilized
in our subject requirements.
