In this work, the challenge was to rescue eighty percent of the existing
construction, priority indicated by the client, proposing a reassessment of the
structure and of the architectural space. As a second priority, the use of
available natural resources: sun, vegetation, wind, being important to take into
account climatic factors, elements protagonists in the remodeling of
architectural space and balance thermal, since most of the spaces are oriented
favorably to the North achieving fresh, open spaces with optimal ventilation and
natural lighting, influencing the reduction of the demand for conventional
energy by taking advantage of alternative energy sources.

Upon reaching the main entrance we are received and subtly communicated with
a double height space to house the room as a space that dominates both the
ground floor as well as the upper floor, this being one of the most important in
the composition of the project, highlighting this space with the Saupe granite
in emerald green tones, sheltering the user.

All vegetative elements were rescued and taken into account in the remodeling,
framing our entrances and contributing to give freshness to our spaces,
connecting these with the water mirror design to create microclimates giving
the user feelings of greatness, spaciousness and serenity, improving the quality
of life of the user. Object integration was achieved architecture to its context,
maintaining the interior-exterior relationship, using resources such as covered
and semi-covered terraces taking advantage of all connections with the outside
but protecting these spaces from sunlight with the use of pergolas.

The color of the surfaces, proposed in walls, floors, doors and finishing walls
visual are not a coincidence but arise from an empirical rationality, to fulfill a
specific purpose and function giving spaces a character own and transmitting a
strong idea as a whole. The solid appearance and solid that forms its structure,
and that completely covers the exterior contrasts with the transparency
achieved by the large format of its windows, large terraces that intersect in
this composition.

The housing program is divided into two floors: On the upper floor is located
the intimate area and on the ground floor its services, the social and convivial
area family. Its structure was reinforced with steel beams, leaving them visible
to that had double intention, aesthetic and structural. Comfort was sought and
maximize the functionality of the spaces, creating an environment defining the
customer personality. The development of the project was planned as the
selection of materials, furniture, lighting, finishes, textures on floors and walls,
like their coatings.
