to further enforce proper actions for the issue to be addressed, in conjunction with or based on
legislation from national legislators. Smoking has become one of the most basic yet challenging
issues that the government must address, and it has already posed a threat not only to people's
lives but also to the government. Not having allowed smoking in public places may help people
quit smoking. These smoke-free policies promote a healthy norm, which may result in a decrease
in smoking prevalence. However, such policies should be monitored on a regular basis to ensure
that the strict and effective implementation of the ordinance is not only overlooked by the

3. What are the problems encountered by the respondents in the implementation of the
ordinance?
This study focused on the determination of the status of the implementation of the
implementation of the ordinance as perceived by the respondents along with the prohibition,
duties and obligations of persons in charge and the penalty imposed. It likewise identified
problems encountered by the respondents, as well as the strategies that may be imposed to
