With reference to the subject mentioned above I want to draw your kind attention towards the irresponsible
and rude behaviour of the Principal and teachers of Government Co-ed Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Sector - 13
Dwarka New Delhi (1821281) towards the students and the parents of the school. The facts in this regard are
as follows :-
That my son Hridyansh, Roll No. 2 is a student of class III A in Government Co-ed Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Sector -
13 Dwarka New Delhi (1821281). He is studying in this school from the beginning of his studies. My son is a
bright student of class and always ready to take part in all the curricular and co-curricular activities in the
school.
That my son Hridyansh, cleared the School level, Zone level (Zone 21)and District level (South West B I) Quiz
competition and qualified for the State Level Quiz Competition 2023-24 for the Students of Primary Classes
(Class III to V) of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. As per department guidelines the State Level Quiz Competition is s to
be held on 5th February to 6th February 2024 and for class III it was scheduled on 05/02/2023 (Monday).
That my son Hridyansh was fully prepared for this competition and reached the school well in time to
participate in the same, but the school administration ignored him and sent other participants to the
competition. Later one of the school teacher called me to come to the school and take my son to attend the
competition. I clarified that I am not able to come as I'm a working woman and my husband is out of station.
She consistently insisted me to come in person or to send anyone else to carry my son for the competition.
Immediately I called to the Principal of the school to resolve this issue positively but she didn't pick the phone.
That on repeated calls the Principal was connected and informed about this incident. She flatly refused to
help by saying that she is not known about any competition. She asked me to not to call her and come to
school to meet her. She also asked me to call the class teacher to meet the her in the Principal office. Her
behaviour was very rude and irresponsible. I was shocked for a movement with such type of behaviour.
Later one of my colleague suggested to contact higher authorities in this regard and provide me the mobile
number of the Deputy Director of Education. I called the Deputy Director of Education and she attended the call
and assured me to look into this matter. On the intervention of the Deputy Director of Education the school
administration wake up and took my son to the venue of competition. It is pertinent to mention here that the
starting time of the competition was 10.00 AM and the school take action at 11.30 AM and my son reached at
the venue around 01.00 PM when the competition was over. He could not participate in the competition due to
the irresponsible behaviour of school administration.
That Due to this incident and insensitive behaviour of the school Principal and teachers we are very
disappointed and my son is very demoralised. He is repeatedly asking to change his school.
In this regard you are requested to fix the responsibility for this type of misconduct and take appropriate action
against the responsible person in favour of the future of the students.
