he often skipped school, never did his homework (PR), and he never showed interest in
any field, even though he always got good grades in English, especially SpellingHer
English teacher asked Akeelah to take part in a spelling bee competition (spelling words
in English) at her school, but Akeelah refused. With a few threats, the principal of
Crenshaw Middle School finally succeeded in getting Akeelah to take part in the spelling
bee competition. Akeelah won the spelling bee competition at her school, and she was
given the mandate to represent her school to take part in the spelling bee competition

Thanks to the motivation of her sister and her best friend, Akeelah had the courage to
register for the spelling bee contest. Akeelah prepares himself to take part in the
contest by watching it on television (spelling bee contest), playing spelling bee games
and reading the spelling of words correctly (by looking in the dictionary). Akeelah won
the spelling bee contest at the district level and he advanced to the spelling bee
competition at the state level. It was Akee who initially refused help from Dr. Larabee

hard with Dr. Larabee. However, suddenly Dr. Larabee can't guide Akeelah anymore.
And Dr. Larabee asks Akeelah to memorize 5000 words. Akeelah learned to spell these
words with the people around her. When the competition took place, Akeelah had to
beat Dylan, who finished second last year. However, Akeelah knows that Dylan is often
pressured by his father to win this year's competition. and in the end, Akeelah and Dylan
won first place in the national spelling competition.
 The Message or the moral value : This film gives us motivation to be more confident in
public and teaches us to find goals (ideals/desires) that we can achieve and teaches us
to interact or learn with the environment around us
