    Walker Products Differential Pressure Sensors
    (DPS) measure the pressure difference between
    exhaust gas in the inlet and outlet of the Diesel
    Particulate Filter (DPF). The sensing element of the
    DPS is piezo resistive where the sensor changes its
    electrical resistance based upon the mechanical
    deformation of the internal membrane.
    Walker Products DPS are designed to meet or
    exceed OE specifications. Our sensors have been
    tested for cyclic operation at high and low pressure
    in extreme conditions, vibration and shock
    resistance, humidity and temperature endurance,
    as well as thermal shock.
    Each DPS is also tested for leakage and voltage
    performance. In some cases, failure to replace
    a defective DPS can result in: unnecessary filter
    regenerations, power loss, reduction in filter life,
    increased pollution levels, or an increase in oil
    consumption. Always replace a defective sensor
    with a quality Walker Products DPS.
