OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

 Candidate must have a Bachelor's/College Degree

 With At least 2-3 years’ experience in trucking and transport cargo operations
 Able to work under pressure
 Have knowledge in handling people
 Willing to work on extended hours as required by operations
 Computer literate (1-STOP/MICT/ATI/MS Office)
 Good communication skill
 Preferably Male

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Daily supervision and management of dispatchers, and Truck Drivers.

 Coordinate and direct the driver activities and assignments.
 Handle all incoming calls and ensure timely responses to clients, drivers, carriers, etc., communicating any
issues to drivers and Operations Management as needed
 Responsible for influencing positive associate morale and quality customer service
 Address driver concerns as they arise and report issues to management as needed
 Monitor and ensure all loads are dispatched in a timely manner in compliance with planned schedule,
documenting all late shipments including the reason for the shipment dispatching after the scheduled
dispatch time, missed arrival times, driver issues, equipment issues, etc.
 Work with Transportation Operations Management to coordinate the most efficient and cost-effective mode
of delivery for all shipments
 Organize and direct all relevant activities in a manner to ensure safe, cost-effective, on-time operating
performance

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 Strong interpersonal, communication and people and change management skills

 Prior experience in dispatch and transportation operations required and a working knowledge of Fleet
Operations
 Strong computer, MS Office, and telephone skills
 Proficiency in English required, bilingual preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to outside weather conditions and/or
moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, or electrical components. The noise level in the
work environment is usually moderate.
