Hi, Good afternoon everyone. My name is Nur Syahidah, today I wanna tell you about
Importance Of Water. My topic of the presentation are:

 What percentage of humans need water?

 What are the benefits of drinking water?
 What is a good schedule for drinking water?
 The Meaning Behind the Color of Urine

Everyone knows that water is essential for life. But are you really drinking enough of it?
Read on to find out the importance of getting your 8 cups of water a day.

Before we start, is there anyone here who doesn't like drinking water? I hope everyone here
likes water. Of course, no one wants kidney disease, right? Okay, so let’s go to the meterials.

1. What percentage of human need water?

The body is made up of 50-75% water. Water forms the basis of blood, digestive juices, urine
and perspiration, and is contained in lean muscle, fat and bones. As the body can't store
water, we need fresh supplies every day to make up for losses from the lungs, skin, urine and
feces (poo).
Is 90 percent of the human body water?
The entire human body is about 70 percent water. Our bones are composed of 24 percent
water, muscles are 75 percent and blood is 85 percent. Lungs are 90 percent, and our brains
are actually 75 percent water. It is easy to see why water and hydration play such a critical
role in a healthful lifestyle.
2. What are the benefits of drinking water?
Why should we drink water?
Water is vital to our health. It plays a key role in many of our body's functions,
including bringing nutrients to cells, getting rid of wastes, protecting joints and organs, and
maintaining body temperature. Water should almost always be your go-to beverage.
3. What is a good schedule for drinking water?
Drink before or after meals. Believe it or not, drinking water is actually fun. Add water to
your routine at home: Before showering, at breakfast, when you make dinner, before washing
clothes, when you wash your face at night. No matter where you are or what you are doing,
always drink water because healthy kidneys need lots of water.
4. The meaning behind the color of urine
What does your urine color tell you?
Pale yellow urine is an indicator of good hydration. Dark yellow urine is a sign to drink more
fluids. Amber-colored urine can indicate dehydration. Orange urine can be caused by various
foods or medications or be a sign of potential liver problems.

Getting enough water every day is important for your health. Drinking water can prevent
dehydration, a condition that can cause unclear thinking, result in mood change, cause your body
to overheat, and lead to constipation and kidney stones. Water has no calories, so it can also help
with managing body weight and reducing calorie intake.
