Good Afternoon to one and all present we welcome you all to the convocation ceremony of

the TRCL’S 2022 batch. For the today’s ceremony myself Gargi Deb and along with Ms.
Riya Sharma we will be the hosts for the EVENT . Now before we move forward, I would
request our chief guest Dr. Anil Variath, the management representative of thakur
educational trust Shri. Ravi Singh and our Principal Dr. A .K. Singh to please come
forward light the lamp for an auspicious beginning.
Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law, Mumbai empowers its students with a vision to meet
the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing world. TRCL’s expert faculty comes
from across the spectrum of legal careers and engages in critical study that contributes to
public debates both in class and country. Today AS OUR CHIEF GUEST we have with us
Dr. Anil Variath who is currently the Registrar Of The Maharashtra National Law
University Mumbai.
Mr. Variath Before joining Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai in 2019 he
served as the Professor, Head of the Institution and Deputy Director at Amity University’s
Law School, Mumbai. He has also served as the Professor, Officer on Special Duty & Head
of the Department of PG Studies at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai and
the Faculty in charge and Co-Ordinator of SNDT Women’s University’s Law School. Not
only this but sir has also appeared before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on The
Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Bill, 2007. With over two decades in
the legal profession, sir also teaches Constitutional Law, Corporate Governance,
International Humanitarian Law, Comparative Public Law and Environment Law. We
thank you sir for gracing our event.
I would request our Principal Dr. A. K. Singh to kindly felicitate our chief guest. Now I
would request Anil Sir to kindly come forward and impart few words of wisdom…..Thank
you so much Sir for sharing such impactful thoughts. SO Now finally the time has come to
bid a heartfelt adieu to all our seniors, the batch of 2022. Thank you for guiding us and
paving an path for us towards excellence. We now begin with the first B.L.S./L.L.B
