Respected Sir,

Sub: Y. Srinivas, A.E.E., OPP, Pedavegi -Humble and Earnest request for a favourable
consideration of my pending promotion case to the position of Deputy
Manager(Tech) - Regarding.
Ref : My request application submitted, dated 15-10-2020,20-5-2021,22-10-2021&
09-04-2022.

I, Y.Srinivas working as an A.E.E. at Oil Palm Processing Unit, Pedavegi submit


the following few lines for the kind perusal and favourable consideration of your
esteemed authority.

1) I have been appointed as Technical Assistant, and started my career in the


organization on 20.04.1990. After rendering long service of more than 20 years
in that cadre, I was elevated to the present position ie., Asst. Executive Engineer
(AEE) in the year, 2011. I was posted initially at AswaraoPeta and subsequently
posted at Pedavegi during the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State.

2) I submit that ever since the date of my joining in this organization, I have left no
stone unturned to put forth my services in a most dedicated and devoted
manner without giving chance for any sort of adverse remark against my
performance except the recent unfortunate incident, wherein I was made as a
scapegoat though the so-called negligence in discharging my duties does not
relate to the duties of my original post of Asst. Executive Engineer.

3) As an A.E.E., I was entrusted the job of processing and maintenance of


machinery, since the Job charts issued to the technical people, I have never
attended the job of signing the sale papers/documents, in any or the units of
APOILFED except in OPP, Pedavegi.

4) That it is my humble submission that I have been forcibly entrusted of signing


the documents of sale products at OPP, Pedavegi, which is not related to my job
or mentioned in my job chart, in addition to my regular reports related to the
production/maintenance as an A.E.E. All the sale related works and
documents preparation work, used to carried out by the outsourcing persons
and as they are not eligible to sign the sale documents, I have been entrusted
the sighing of the papers, without involving in any of the procedure.

5) I submit that I should not be penalized on any lapse occurred on account of


somebody else as they are mere outsourcing persons. It is an undisputed bare
fact that even in the Inquiry conducted by the duly appointed Inquiry Officer,
there are no specific overtacts against my performance.

6) Moreover, without prejudice to my contentions, it is my sincere submission that
as seen from the facts of the disciplinary case, it is not an issue relating to any
misuse or misappropriation of money where a team of staff are involved, but not
exclusively against me, individually.

7) I submit that the volume of integrity in discharging the additional duties


shouldered on me is very much evident from the fact that I was even authorized
as a signatory on the cheques issued by AP Oil Fed Plant at Pedavegi, which
duty is also discharged by me without giving chance of any remark against my
performance. It is also pertinent to submit that the additional duties entrusted
to me are equivalent to the cadre of a Manager, i.e., two cadres higher than my
present posting.

8) Yet in view of my innocence, I have been made a scape goat and punished with
minor punishment of withholding of two increment with cumulative effect. I was
constrained to approach the Hon'ble High Court aggrieved by the withholding of
my two increments, which issue is no way related to my promotion case and
hence, my promotion cannot be stopped either on the ground of alleged
pendency of any case before a Court of Law.

9) It also stands closed in view of the fact that the punishment of withholding two
annual increments was already imposed and also the period of punishment
was completed in the month of May, 2021. Hence, there is no pendency of any
disciplinary case as far as my case is concerned. Hence, I am fully entitled to
consider my case of promotion to the next higher grade with affect from the
month of May,2021.

10) That the detailed sincere and humble submissions made supra make it crystal
clear that I am fully entitled for considering the case of my promotion to the
next higher grade of Deputy Manager(Tech).

Therefore, it is my earnest request before your benevolent authority to kindly


consider my case of promotion to the next higher grade of Deputy Manager, at the
earliest possibility and with no further of loss of time in this regard, if this case is
considered with a sense of logic in my case, else it would be construed as dual
punishment imposed against me and if that is so, I will suffer huge, irreparable and
irrevocable loss and injury for no fault of mine.
