Dr. Lipika Sharma
Dr. Lipika Sharma, an esteemed Indian lawyer with 23 years of
expertise, specializes in legal aspects related to POSH, gender
inclusion/justice, disaster, climate change and allied areas. She is
the only Indian on the register of UN Women as a gender expert.
Dr. Sharma actively advises UN bodies, the Red Cross and
international consultancies on women's empowerment and
gender inclusion. She is experienced in legal writing, analysis,
training, litigation, consulting, and project management, along with a PhD in law. She
has extensive experience in conducting workshops and training sessions for
corporates, PSUs, and universities on POSH. She is on the panel of BRPL (a leading
private electricity supplier in India) to train their more than twenty thousand employees
for POSH. To date, she has the privilege of conducting more than 200 workshops and
training more than 10,000 employees. She has developed and conducted 2 credit
courses in the universities on POSH. She has also served as a member of the Internal
Committee for various organised private sectors and University-level Internal
Complaint Committees of Amity, Galgotias, and Sharda University. She is the founding
director of VidAikyam Foundation, registered under the Companies Act, dedicated to
the pursuit of gender justice, women's empowerment, disaster, climate change and
allied areas. She has received 7 awards which include an award from UNDP Global
Compact for her dedication to the cause of women empowerment.

Mr. Jestin Anthony


Jestin Anthony, a seasoned professional with over 15 years of
experience in the development sector and around two decades
of spiritual living, Co-founded the Noble Citizen Foundation with
a visionary approach to organizational spirituality. Through
collaborations with governmental bodies, NGOs, and corporate
entities, Jestin integrates this unique perspective into the
foundation's programs, aiming to unearth and amplify the
spiritual essence within organizations for holistic growth and
meaningful impact. His passion for Disaster Management is interwoven into all
initiatives, addressing environmental considerations alongside broader objectives.
With a rich background in diverse locations like Afghanistan (Kabul, Bamiyan), and

Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace
(POSH)
The concept of Prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace is quintessential in
today’s workspaces. As per law, it is a mandatory requirement to do business in India
whether private or public sector. To have a clear understanding of the concept and
law related to sexual harassment at the workplace and sensitisation of employers and
employees is mandated under the existing law in India hence every organisation shall
train and sensitize their employees on the issue. The concept of POSH and “The
Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal)
Act, 2013” will be discussed in detail from definitions of concepts to the prevention
and redressal mechanisms along with punishment and remedies under the law.
