Data base Backup Drill TRST01

Data Base backup is essential and mandatory for every

organisation to save their data and for business continuity and
preventing the data from deletion and removing of the code
that developed by the concerned teams.

Backups are useful for testing changes, upgrades, or

new applications without risking the integrity of your
production data. You can restore backups to a test
environment to simulate real-world scenarios.

In our organisation we are taking the Back up of Data base in

the form of Snap shots, these snap shots will be taken almost
daily in order to prevent from the data loss .

These Data base Back-up will be taken by the head of the

developers and the technology officer along with devops
engineer.

The concerned teams working on that particular Data base

will be notified earlier to prevent the work loss and the data
loss of all the running processes.
The concerned teams like Developers ,Testing team, and all
the other teams will be notified earlier by the email that the
Data base Backup will be taken on particular time, and the
concerned teams will schedule their work according to that
particular downtime of the resources.

time, following are the actions to be performed by the
DevOps team.

How will the Concerned teams be notified internally: Email

Teams that will be notified: Developers team, Testers, UI

designers and all the Tech related teams.

Pull latest backup on: 14-02-2024 ,01:10 PM

Restore server and db from latest backup on: 14-02-

2024 ,1:15 PM.

Re-map security group with instance on : 14-02-2024 ,1:30

PM

Re-associate EIP with new instance on : 14-02-2024 ,1:35PM

Re-map Cloud-watch custom metrics on : 14-02-
