 School’s Name and Location: Wall Street English, Casablanca
Other persons involved in
Week 1 Day’s Activities your activities– staff and/or
teachers(s),
-Division of the groups into two since the effective  Mister Fakhrdine Jamal
is much bigger than the WSE work space. The first  Mister Mahmoud
thing we started with was the lesson about
immigration and the international market which
Monday gave us the opportunity to develop our vocabulary
around that theme and learn more about that topic
which can be very useful in the professional
level .Then after the break we proceeded on
working on the WSE platform for our training under
the supervision of Mr Fakhrdine.
-So the first session was on how to right a  Miss Shanon
professional email using formal language which is  Miss Aspen Barker
convenient if it’s addressed to a professional and the  Mister Mahmoud
teacher taught us how to transform the casual
Tuesday sentences we use on the daily basis to a more formal
disposition. After the break, we did our usual
training on the platform until 12.For the last hour
we were divided into groups of 6 in order to work
on a creating and opening a business in a small
town with Miss Shannon.
-So basically the first session was a vocabulary  Mister Mahmoud
lesson with linking word exercises on adverbsand  Mister Fakhrdine Jamal
conjuctions and how to properly use each type of
those . The post-break session was the same as
Wednesday usual (WSE computer training). The last session was
basically a ted talk which title was “Reshaping the
story of your career”, the title explains itself so the
video was essentially on how to change your career
when you realize you’re not happy with you actual
career.
-First period was a lesson about the passive and  Miss Shannon
active form and how to choose and use the right  Mister Mahmoud
tenses and forms to work with. Post-break was the  Mister Fakhrdine Jamal
usual WSE training which this time took me longer
Thursday that the usual and made me a little late for the
debate with Miss Shannon on censorship which
actually was a bit tense because of the cultural
differences with the teacher.
-Unlike the other days of this week I started the day  Mister Fakhrdine Jamal
by working on the WSE platform since there was no  Mister Matthew
lesson planned and the teachers were busy with the
encounters so I worked on the platform waiting for
Friday our turns for the encounter which was a sort of
revision and summary of what has been done during
the week on the platform . After everyone was done
with their work on the platform and encounters the
teachers ran a check on each group’s outline to
make sur everything’s done well .

 Hours worked this week: 20 hours from 9 AM to 1 PM, from Monday to Friday.

Summary of the week:

So far these two past weeks were great. The teachers are nice and easy going
which makes the training less boring and much more interesting than it might
seem . Even if some of the lesson we’ve been doing we’ve already done in the
past whether it was in HEM or in high school it’s good to refresh it and look
through them over again. Nevertheless we’ve acquired new vocabulary and
grammar skills with the teachers and the platform . All of the sessions were
instructive on professional and personal perspective in a very entertaining way .
And to be honest we were able to develop our English in all the possible ways
whether it’s the things we already knew which somehow expanded or the new
things we acquired . Each day has been resourceful for most of us I suppose and
the best thing about WSE is that in order for us to learn more they opted for
different methods such as the ted talks which are very instructive or the debates
we’ve had which actually teach us how to work on our accents and pronunciation.
And as for the project I was lucky enough to be grouped with classmates that I’m
used to work with which made the whole process smoother and easier for all of
us so finding an idea and working on the outline was very fast and the teach
thought that our idea was actually very good .So to sum up everything has been
great for the moment and I’m looking forward to the coming weeks .
