Blitz Art Craft Instructions

You will need:

• Printout of Blitz Templates
• A4 piece of card
• Red paint
• Yellow paint
• Blue paint
• Paintbrush
• Plate for paint
• Scissors
• White glue (such as PVA)
• Glue spreader
• Plate for glue

What To Do:
1 Position your piece of A4 card in
the landscape format. To make
the sky, paint the piece of card
(using the yellow paint) along
the bottom of the page.
2 Next, mix the yellow paint with
a little red and paint along the
middle of the page. Then mix
the red paint with some blue
paint and paint along the top
of the page.
3 Using the Blitz Templates, choose
the buildings that you want to use
for the skyline (you won’t need
them all). Carefully, cut out your
chosen buildings and set them
aside for later.
4 Carefully, cut out the light beams
from the Blitz Template.

5 When the painted background is
dry, position your buildings along
the bottom of the page. Then, use
the glue to stick the light beams
to the page. The smallest end of
the light beams should be nearer
the bottom of the page (starting
from the buildings), with the
largest part of the beams pointing
towards the top of the page.
6 Finally, glue your chosen
buildings into place along the
bottom of the piece of painted
card. Top Tip: overlap the
buildings to make your design
look more realistic.

Step 1

Step 3
Using the Blitz Templates, choose the buildings that you
want to use for the skyline (you won’t need them all).
Carefully, cut out your chosen buildings and set them
aside for later.

Step 4
Carefully, cut out the light beams from the
Blitz Template.

Step 5 When the painted background is dry, position your

buildings along the bottom of the page. Then, use the
glue to stick the light beams to the page. The smallest
end of the light beams should be nearer the bottom of the
page (starting from the buildings), with the largest part
of the beams pointing towards the top of the page.

Step 6 Finally, glue your chosen buildings into place along the
