Title: Bubble map preparation

Objectives:
 ‌ o visualise and analyze spatial data across various domains.
T
 ‌To understand how to use bubbles in a map to represent information.
 ‌To display the distribution of data points across a geographic area.
 ‌To compare multiple data sets or attributes by using different bubble sizes or color.
 ‌To highlight concentration.
 ‌To explore data dynamically when used in interactive applications.

Materials :
 ‌ 3 paper
A
 ‌Reference Map
 ‌Pencil
 ‌Pen
 ‌Eraser
 ‌Sharpener
 ‌Scale
 ‌Color

Procedure :
 ‌ reference map was taken and grid lines were drawn. The distance between two grid line
A
is 1 cm.
 ‌An A3 paper was taken and 1/2" border was drawn. The scale factor for enlargement was
120%. So, on the A3 paper, new grid lines were drawn and this time the difference was
1.2 cm from one grid line to another grid line. Then the enlarge map was drawn following
the reference map.
 ‌Different map components were added.
 ‌A legend was added that explains the significance of symbols and bubbles used in the
map.
Outcome:

Application & Conclusion :

A bubble map is a type of visual representation used for organising and displaying data on ideas.
It typically consists of bubbles or circles. The size of each bubble is proportional to the quantity
or significance of the data it represents.
Bubble maps are used in different sectors such as concept mapping, data visualization, project
planning, demographic analysis, environmental impact assessment, infrastructure development
nad so on.
Bubble maps, when used in combination with GIS technology, can provide urban planners with
dynamic and data-rich visualizations that facilitate informed decision making, community
engagement and sustainable urban development.
