Communications Officer JD
NMT invites applications from dynamic individuals with a sense of commitment and passion
to work and join a multidisciplinary team as Communications Executive.
Qualifications:
Essential: Post Graduate / Graduate in Mass Communication, Visual Communications,
Journalism or any other streams with minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in
Communications department (preferably with NGOs) environment. Fresher can also apply.
Responsibilities
o Social Media Engagement
Creating a Monthly Social Media Calendar for NMT
Creating and posting on NMT’s socials with engaging content
Management of LinkedIn profile
Social Media Analytics
Ensure Brand image is maintained on all social platforms
o Offline Communications
Content writing for Brochures, Handbills and other communications content as
and when required
Coordinating with other staff to create regular blog posts
Creating and managing the quarterly NMT newsletter
Planning and coordinating video and photo shoots as per need
Assisting in distribution of communications materials
o Website Management.
Assisting in the planning and execution of NMT’s websites
Content Development for NMT’s websites
Management of interactive forums, Removal of spam posts and keeping the
forum clean, Approval of posts and join requests.
Website analytics on monthly basis
Adding new content as required.
Making minor updates in NMT main websites including compiling of reports and
photographs
Maintain record of website edits and compiling the same for documentation and
billing.
o Other Tasks
o Assisting in events for planning, setup and takedown
o Assisting in development of new projects as required
o General functions and responsibilities of Communications Department.
o Any other work as per the needs of the Trust and as directed by the
management
