I. CALL TO ORDER
EMCEE: Our 4th Virtual Learning Action Cell is about to begin./ Just a few reminders, this
session requires your full attendance, with that, you may now SIGN IN to our
ATTENDANCE LINK which is now available in our chat box. Also, kindly check your
signal, the battery status of your phone or laptop, your camera, your headset or earphones,
and also your microphone to avoid interruption in the progress of today’s session. Most

Without further ado, I would like to ask everyone to please rise for our Opening Prayer, to be
followed by the singing of our Philippine National Anthem, Makabayan Song, and the
Mission and Vision of Alternative Learning System.
Once again, a wonderful afternoon everyone. It is my delight to be your emcee for this

EMCEE: Before we commence our Virtual LAC Session, let us all be reminded with the
following House Rules.

EMCEE: To formally start, we are pleased to have you with us the Public Schools District
Supervisor and the MOTHER of CAHILSOT DISTRICT, no other than, Ma’am Evangeline
S. Ortiz, to deliver to us her welcome message. A virtual applause please.
VI. MESSAGE
EMCEE: Today’s affair is extra significant to us/ because we have someone here/ who really
finds time to be with us/ despite her tight schedule./ We are so blessed to have her here./
Please help me welcome,/ our CURRICULUM IMPLEMENTATION DIVISION – CHIEF
and the QUEEN MOTHER OF ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM GenSan’s Division
to deliver to us her message.
EMCEE: For today’s roll call of attendees, I am the one who is tasked to do it.
EMCEE: Just like you, this Session is also made with a purpose. At this juncture, let us hear
the aims and purposes of today’s affair, to be presented by the very fresh-looking, young at
heart, vibrant and ever supportive, Education Program Specialist II for ALS, Sir Reginns
Jumilla. Take it away, Sir!
EMCEE: May is considered as Mental Health Awareness Month. It has never been more
important than to recognize that mental health is an essential component in one’s overall
health and wellbeing, and that mental illnesses are common and treatable. While it may be
that some of us are more vulnerable than others, everyone faces challenges in life that can
impact their mental health. After all, more than a year ago, none of us had any idea that all of
us would be upended by this pandemic, and that worry, isolation, loneliness, depression and
anxiety would become collective experiences shared by everyone. And by that everyone, it
literally means that none of us is ever exempted. Regardless of how strong both our physical
strength and financial capability is, our mental state is somehow troubled by this health crisis
that is now dominating not just in our country but the whole wide world.
To educate us about Mental Health Awareness, we invited a speaker who will discuss to us
about this matter. She is

spearheaded by the DISTRICT ALS COORDINATOR OF CAHILSOT DISTRICT, Ma’am

EMCEE: Definitely, Mental Health Awareness Month provides a timely reminder that
mental health is essential and that those living with mental health issues deserves care,
understanding, compassion, and pathways to hope, healing, recovery, and fulfillment. After
all, that is what we all need now more than ever– for ourselves, for our loved ones, for our
communities, and for our world. With this, I’d like to leave you these words to ponder, that
“MENTAL HEALTH IS AS IMPORTANT AS PHYSICAL HEALTH”.
As we are about to end this LAC Session, let us put ourselves in the presence of the Lord by
closing our eyes and sincerely pray to our ALMIGHTY GOD.
