Test 1: Economy + Polity

 Attempt one essay from each subject category

 The test carries 250 marks
 Write each essay in about 1000-1200 words

Economy

1. Poverty and Inequality are the root cause of all economic and social problems.
2. Digital economy: A leveller or a source of economic inequality
3. Gender equality- a precondition for poverty reduction, sustainable development
and good governance in India.
4. Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its
own existence.

Polity

1. Robust democracy requires not only independent judges and vocal media but
also vocal judges and independent media.
2. What we have not learnt during seventy-five years of independence.
3. The end of law is not to abolish or restrain, but to preserve and enlarge liberty.
4. COVID19 has created opportunities as well as challenges for federalism in India
