Worksheet Objectives:
1. Describe the four ethical communities
2. Apply the ethical communities to your personal case situation

Complete the following making sure to support your ideas and cite from the textbook and other
course materials per APA guidelines. After the peer review, you have a chance to update this and
format for your Electronic Portfolio due in Module 6.

1) Briefly restate your situation from Module 1 and your role.

I have chosen twitch as my organization. This is the largest organization for streaming all
things from video games to cooking or even just chatting. I am looking into it as a
external role looking into the organization. The situation I have chosen to look into is the
creator fees and requirements set by the company for their streamers have to agree to and
run to make a profit. It is within this situation I want to know if it is in fact profitable to
the either party.

2) Describe how the ethics of the organization influenced the situation.

Ethics plays a huge role in the situation. It makes a different situation for the
organization. They provide opportunities and proof of ethics caring for the viewers and
the creators. They put a huge amount of attention into the overall inclusive and loving
environment for all to enjoy. With this it has created an environment that is unheard of in
most social media platforms. We have all experienced where the internet has been super
destructive and segragates people many times. Twitch makes a stand and has groups and
support for all to come and enjoy what they love from all walks of life whether just
chatting, cooking, video games, or politics.

3) Recommend how you would apply one of the ethical communities for an alternative
course of action regarding your case.

I would recommend making slight changes and making it more known about these
groups. They are a little hard to find if you are new to the platform but if creators and the
Twitch company as a whole could navigate and push the companies ethics to maximum
limits this will allow more to feel comfortable maybe even attempt streaming themselves.
If twitch has more new streamers then this will allow their profits to increase and the

 viewers will have more options to view things as well instead of the hoops needed to start
charging and making money on content.

4) Reflect on what you would do or not do differently given what you have learned
about ethics.

I love the ethics chapter in businesses. The wuote about businesses caring about the soul
is something I can not forget. This is a deep conversation as I feel many businesses care
more about profit than making a safe ethical work place. However if they make it and
take the time to nuture these values into the staff leaders and consumers then the world
can make strides to a more common ground and in return hopefully a little less hateful.
We need to make changes to save the soul of companies and hope for a better moral
world and moral lifestyle.
