Worksheet Objectives:
1. Identify an organization and situation you want to study over the remainder of the course.
2. Describe the organization and the situation

Complete the following making sure to support your ideas and cite from the textbook and other
course materials per APA guidelines. After the peer review, you have a chance to update this and
format for your Electronic Portfolio due in Module 6.

1) Name and describe your organization.

I have chosen Twitch as my organization. This is a large platform streaming site that
many use to stream video games or other activities to the public in hopes of making
money. This platform was the start of the online streaming communities before youtube,
kick, and now even X is looking to get into the streaming world.

2) Describe your role in the organization (it can be an internal or external role).

I am an aspiring streamer and even watch many streams live so I am looking at it from
someone using the site and company services but also someone wanting to watch other
creaters with their finished products. There is a massive amount of people who try and
create content but how they use the companies services sets the successful creators apart
from the rest.

3) Describe the situation, including information you think the will help the reader
understand the most important elements of the situation. (This will require
selectivity: part of the art of case writing is separating the essential facts from the
mass of information that might be included).

I want to look at the situation of creator fees and requirements set by the company and
how this affects the content the company can create and offer to its clients. These services
and fees are the backbone of the companies profit flow so handling these with caution
and care can either make or break them as a business.
