TIMBER FLOOR. 1. First gather all materials. 2. Select a old table remove the top and use the base of the table. 3. Next select a piece of plywood, measure and cut to 71” and screw onto the base of the table 4. After take 2'x 4” piece of wood and cut 4 pieces to 71” for the cill and measure and cut the spaces to put the cills together 5. Take a wood chisel and remove the unwanted timber until it becomes completely smooth. 6. Then take the four pieces of cill and secure them onto the plywood. 7. Next take 2 pieces of dress pitch pine and cut into 8 pieces for the upright 8. Place your first upright onto the cill and measure 20” and 2 “after and continue that procedure until all uprights are nailed onto the cill. 9. Place braces at all uprights so it wont move and go out of line while securing then and take a I beam leave and make sure its centred and secure with nails. 10.Cut the 4 pieces of joist to 4ft long secure them to the 4 pieces of cill 11.Made necessary measurements and cut the thrust both herring bone. Solid strutting and put into place 12.Next measure both 71” inches long and cut all the necessary recess for the post board to place between the uprights. 13.Lastly continue cutting 71” inches for the floor board until completely covered.
