SESSION 1
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the students which you can
infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their learning, question their learning processes,
and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.

Activity: Random Words
On your notepad, write random words that
come to your mind. Any word will do. Take
your thoughts in the situation where you
find yourself most interested in. Do this in
three (3) to five (5) minutes.
The random words that you have written on
your notepad are your personal interest.
These are the topics or subjects that first
inspires your interest. These are the
concepts and constructs that your mind has
which will serve as the baseline of your
formal research topic.
Choose and encircle only three(3) from the
random words that appear to be relevant,
timely and interesting for you.
Ask learners to present their output in the
class.
