competitive globally. The (CHED-FDP)

of Science and Technology (DOST) and
Science and Technology Institute (STI)
provides a services or programs for
undergraduate and graduate programs to
support the growth of science,
technology, and also human resources in
the country.
The benefits that they can get in
program include tuition, educational
expenses, grants, and assistance for
thesis (Halili, 2014). Continuing of
degree in education has been play an
important role and best engines for
social mobility. Education has
significant role on a national and
international level. Students' applied for
financial assistance in order to pursue
their degree in college (Lim & Wang,
2016). This is a result of students'
choosing to pursue their education in a
higher level; the institutions reduce their
educational expenses with financial aid
in the form of subsidies (Avery, 2014).
These shown a relation with the
scholarship services that are offered for
students' in college. Studies has been
conducted in several nations that inspect
the relation between financial assistance
 and persistence (Santelices et al., 2015;
see also Herzog, 2017; and Qayyum et
al., 2018). After examining the results,
they discovered that some students' are
likely to pursue their education after
receiving financial support. The purpose
of this study is to determine about

7722 otherwise known as the Higher
Education Act of 1994 in compliance
with the annual General Appropriations
Act (GAA), and by the virtue of the
Commission en banc (CEB) Resolution
No. 369, s. 2021, the Commission is
hereby issues guidelines providing the
list of priority programs for CHED
Scholarships Programs (CSPs).
The priority programs aim to
direct/steer higher education qualified
applicants for financial assistance under
the CSPs to enrol in public or private
higher education institutions (HEIs)
offering recognized/authorized
undergraduate priority programs. Aside
with this scholarship program, Arellano
University has its extension to provide
quality education to those students who
qualified and quantified scholarship
requirements as avenue of helping poor
but deserving students.
