Direction. Answer substantially the following questions based on our modules and
lessons for midterms. ( 60pts)

1. What subject is best for the demonstration method ? Why? Provide the subject and
topic and explain why the demo method is best applied on such . ( 20pts)

2. When is the exploratory method best used in teaching ? Provide an example ( 10pts)
- Exploratory method is best used when we’re about to take college because at this
phase we need to learn things out by ourselves and exploring things to make work
by our own such as with the help of tutorial and peer-based encouragement, we may
learn by discovering worlds, reality, and lived and virtual encounters. This way of
thinking about learning is based on the basis that learning patterns can be usefully
applied to different aspect in life.

3. From your own words and understanding, differentiate clearly what is a method,
strategy, approach and technique ( 20pts)
- A method is a practiced, reasonable, or recommended procedure or systematic
method for giving specific and efficient outcomes. Strategic planning normally
requires some kind of strategy. Learning strategies are tasks conducted with the aim
of ensuring that the learning process in the classroom achieves goals successfully
and efficiently. An approach is a method of dealing with something. An approach is a
representation of a particular model or analysis. Approach refers to a collection of
ideas and studies. Technique a very concrete one because to be able to do this it
requires a lot of knowledge and skills to do nor execute it.

4. Why is direct instruction often used in lessons that implemented through a step-by step
procedure? ( 5pts)
- Students may improve at their own with Direct Instruction. As the year goes by, the
teacher has a better understanding of each student's abilities and shortcomings and
is able to assist them with their specific problems, moreover direct instruction is
necessary because it reflects the world in which many of our students will return after
they have finished college. They will be in a community of other people of various
cultures and different raises when we work on our choosen careers, and they will be
expected to listen to them, collaborate with them, and perform at a pace that is not
necessarily their own.

5. How can the passive observers or learners be helped after a demonstration. ( 5pts)
- Being a passive learner or observer is one of the ways of showing respect to anyone
who’s been teaching or demonstrating things, thus being a passive observer nor a
learner can also benefit because we don’t just listen and observe but taking this all in
and sharing it to other on the near future or might as well used this on our future
profession by not just only learning.
