further global good and create a better planet.

Initiated under the presidency of the G20 2023,


Startup20 is first of its kind official engagement

A 15-year-old initiative, Jagriti Yatra is leading a unique
movement of ‘BUILDING INDIA THROUGH ENTERPRISE’
focused on Middle India (Tier 2/3 India).

In 2023, Jagriti Yatra and G20 Startup20 have partnered


to accelerate the movement of entrepreneurship globally.

A Globally Admired Journey of Discovery and


Transformation, has been recast in a new format for the
G20 Presidency of India under the Startup 20 initiative. A
non-profit initiative, Jagriti Yatra is a 14-day, 8000-km
entrepreneurship train journey to inspire youth from to
become entrepreneurs. It has been running since 2008,
impacting, 7500+ youth from Indian and 23 countries. It
focuses on Tier 2 and Tier 3 districts of India, what is
termed Middle India, and it is also creating an enterprise
ecosystem in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Refined over years, Jagriti Yatra is an innovation that has travelled from India to other international locations, with similar
journey’s being held in four other countries, and a growing community of entrepreneurs in India and abroad. Designed in
an experiential format, Jagriti Yatra will give you unique insights into understanding Inclusive Entrepreneurship by
immersing yourself in India of small towns and villages. It is based on a methodology of learning where a journey to the
small towns and districts of India in the company of 450 other participants provides a unique learning and networking
forum. This year, approximately 70 persons will be joining this journey from G20 nations, and there will be wider
participation from Indian leaders and visionaries.

Students’ Council, Indian Institute of Science


The Indian Institute of Science, located in the city of Bangalore, is India’s
premier institute of research in Science and Technology.

The Students’ Council at IISc is an elected student body that seeks to improve
and maintain the integrity, inclusiveness, and sustenance of the ecosystem of
all students. Around the year, various technical, cultural and thought-
provoking national and institute-level events are organized by the Council.

Think India
Think India is a forum of students from India's premier Institutes of National
Importance (such as IITs, IIMs, NIDs, NIFTs, AIIMS, NITs, NLUs, and others) that work
on creating a new generation of thought leaders and problem solvers for Bharat.

The forum, started in 2007, organises programs and facilitates internships with
Legislators, Think Tanks, Social Enterprises, premier Law Firms, and Government
and Multilateral Organisations.

Focus Areas Jagriti Enterprise Mela

The Jagriti Enterprise Mela over the last 7 years has left its mark as an event that uniquely stands apart from the Startup
Melas that happen in Bengaluru.

500 hand picked enterprising individuals from the Yatra, and 200+ students from premier institutes from Bengaluru
will visit your stalls and interact with you. It is an opportunity to interact with and attract potential talent.
