On behalf of the Academic Board of the Zambia Institute for Medical and Psychological
Studies, I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected for admission to
pursue a Diploma in Registered Nursing at this College on full time basis for January
2024 intake. I am also delighted to inform you that you have been offered a scholarship
of Fifty-Percent (50%) of tuition fees (Term and Conditions apply).

The program to which you have been admitted will commence on Monday 8th January,
2024. Therefore, you will be required to arrive on Tuesday 2th January, 2024 to Friday
5th January, 2024 for registration at our main campus at Banja Conner near Downtown
Mall in Lusaka. All new students are required to bring along the following;
• Payment deposit slip(s),
• Certified Copy of NRC/Passport,
• Certified Copy (ies) of secondary school certificate/transcripts by the Examination
Council of Zambia (ECZ),
• Two Passport Size Photos
• 2 copies of this letter.
• Application form.
• Copy of the Application/Scholarship form receipt.

PAYEMENTS IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This offer in only valid for the 2024 academic year and is subject to fulfillment of the
following conditions:

OTHER COLLEGE RULES AND GUIDELINES

1. For any refund, refer to refund policy.


2. Use of abusive or insulting language within the college premises is strictly
prohibited
3. Fighting is a serious offence. Culprits may face suspension or expulsion
4. No student shall disrespect or disregard lawful instructions from the college
authorities
5. All members of staff/administration shall be respected at all times
6. Orderliness shall be observed at all cost at the hostels and classes
7. Theft, vandalism, demonstrations will result in suspension, expulsion or
replacement of the property damaged
8. No beer drinking in class or elsewhere during learning hours. Anyone found
smelling of beer face disciplinary action
9. The college shall withhold results for any student owing.
10. Reporting late without prior-notification to the administration is not tolerated

11. Where accommodation has not been offered due to limited spaces, students are
advised to make their own arrangements.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Late Registration
All students are expected to report on the dates specified in the acceptance
letters and official ZIMPS academic calendars, late registration will not be
condoned and will attract a penalty fee of K200.

2. Medical Report
All incoming Local and International students will be required to undergo
medical tests at a fee of K200

3. Fees are subjected to review at any time when it is deemed necessary by the
College management

REFUND POLICY.
The purpose of this refund policy is to establish guidelines and procedures for handling
refund requests from students or parents/guardians in the event of withdrawal,
cancellation, or overpayment of fees.

1. Eligibility for Refunds: - Refunds may be granted to students or parents/guardians


who meet the criteria outlined in the school's refund policy. - Eligibility for refunds may
vary depending on the type of fee being refunded, such as tuition fees or other
miscellaneous fees.

2. Refund Request Process: - Students or parents/guardians must submit a written


refund request to the school's administration office. - The refund request should include
all necessary details, such as the student's name, student ID number, reason for the
refund, and any supporting documentation.

3. Refund Period: - The refund period will be determined by the school and may vary
depending on the type of fee being refunded. - Refund requests received 30 days after
opening of the semester may not be eligible for consideration.

4. Refund Calculation: - Refunds will be calculated based on the school's established


refund policy and the specific circumstances of the refund request. - The refund amount
may be prorated based on the length of time the student attended the school or the
services received.

I. 30% of the refund will be deducted if the request is done within 14 days after the
opening the semester.
II. 50% of the refund will be deducted after 14 days but within 30 days after the
new semester.

5. Non-Refundable Fees: - Certain fees may be deemed non-refundable and will not be
eligible for a refund. - Examples of non-refundable fees may include application fees, or
fees for services already rendered.

6. Refund Disbursement: - Approved refunds will be disbursed in the form determined


by the school, such as a cheque or direct deposit refund. - The school will make
reasonable efforts to process and disburse approved refunds in 30 days.

7. Refund Appeals: - Students or parents/guardians who disagree with the school's


refund decision may submit an appeal in writing to the school's administration office. -
The appeal should include any additional information or documentation supporting the
request for reconsideration.

8. Refund Policy Amendments: - The school reserves the right to amend or modify the
refund policy as necessary. - Any changes to the refund policy will be communicated to
students or parents/guardians in a timely manner.

9. Compliance: - The school's refund policy will comply with all applicable laws and
regulations governing refund practices in the educational sector.
