(Draft) Job Description

Tasks
• Immerse yourself in the world of life science to make sure that you understand how your
product design solutions are helping scientists succeed
• Explore new opportunities and validate hypotheses
• Owning design projects and managing multiple work streams in in close cooperation with
PMs, Engineers and other Stakeholders from concept to launch.
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to prioritize features by translating user
insights into actionable and tangible next steps, ensuring that the design aligns with user
needs and business goals, and facilitating a seamless transition from user research to
product development.
• Creating high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively
communicate and test interaction design ideas
• Defining the user interface for new and existing features
• Ensuring that implementation quality meets design requirements.
• Organizing the design system library and create new components

Requirements
• 5+ years' experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing customer-
centric design projects.
• A great communicator who can express his/her thoughts well in English
• Able to tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy to-
use designs that translate into concrete business results
• You have a strong track record and understanding of user experience, interaction design
and user interface (minimum 5 years of experience).
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team of
designers and researchers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages
innovation and continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.
• An outstanding portfolio demonstrating a customer-centered design approach, analytical
problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong eye for grids, visual patterns and pixel perfection
• Experience working with design systems.
• Familiar with tools like Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
Nice to have

• A Bachelors or Master's degree in an Interaction Design/UX-related field


• Experience working in an agile environment and cross-functional team set-up
• Experience in designing Voice User Interfaces Experience in designing Web/Mobile apps
