• Miss information ; Humans love to share miss information rather than real news. And they are
getting short dopamine pleasure from sharing miss information.
• Attention span : We loss our attention span duration from 12 seconds to 8 seconds, actually gold
fish also have 9 seconds attention span. Beacuse of hyper links and mulity social appas activities.
• Mood Swing : our moods can swing dramatically in the echo chamber of social media. A string of
positive comments can elevate our spirits, while a negative interaction or the perceived lack of
attention can send us spiraling into self-doubt.
• FOMO : Peoples are still suffering through the FOMO, That anxienty steer them to depression,
Self Doubt, Jealousy, Loneliness, Constant worry, Lack of self esteem
Solution
• Understanding your initial purpose is the first step forwards more mindful usage.
• Do not consume social media before 11am, Do actions as much possible then only check the
social media
• Take Digital detox, Taking regular breaks from diigital devices can help reset your mind and
reduce dependence on technology
• Try removing social media apps from your phone, use from lap or tab. If you do ot have that
browse socia media app through google or other browser. But do not download apps.
• Monitoring your emotional state before and after social media use to evaluate its effect
• Human brains love sugar, and but they did not expect the artificial sugar like social media.
• FB bught insta for $1 Billion in 2012, As of 2023, instagram generated $50.58 Billion in AD
revenue.
• Your Attention = Money, and the social media fullfilled with illusion that grab your attention.
• The social media Engineered for addiction, Getting dopamine every time.
• Behaviour Modification ( tell a job and tell them about food to dogs or child )

• When was the last time you spend time for self reflection? and when was the last time you
scrolled the social media? And see the differences.
