Prepare a conductivity calibration lead using a 100 ohm 0.1% precision resistor.
Go to the Engineering section Settings Calibration Menu. Select Calibrate
Conductivity. Enter the value of 45.5 into the Probe Calibration Screen, Exit. Make sure
that the probe is clean and dry, press continue. The calibration process takes a sample
reading with no resistance being read from the conductivity probe. The calibration lead
Must Not Be In Place during this reading. The Low Reading on the screen should read
between 0 and 2. Press any Key. Place the calibration lead through the conductivity probe
loop as shown above. Press continue. The calibration process takes a sample reading with
the 100 ohm resistance being read from the conductivity probe. The High Reading on the
screen should read around 190. Press any key. Finally the screen will display the
following;
• Gradient + should display a value of approximately 2.4
• Offset + should display a value of <5

If the Gradient value reads “+INF” or the Offset value reads “NaN” there has been a failure
of the calibration process. Please re calibrate checking all steps are carried out correctly.
