The revised syllabus includes five sections covering topics at AS and A Level: 1) business environment, 2) human resource management, 3) marketing, 4) operations, and 5) finance and accounting. Strategy is now integrated into each functional area at A Level instead of a standalone section. Changes include introducing intrapreneurs and customer relationship marketing, revising human resource management and costs topics, and adding scenario planning and blue ocean strategy. Some topics are no longer covered, and exam papers have been retitled with reduced duration for one paper. Students are struggling with applying concepts strategically for paper 4 and developing critical thinking, while teachers face challenges with bulky content, limited time, and lack of resources.
