Las Vegas is the largest city in the

state of Nevada, in the United

States. It is one of the main tourist
destinations in the country due to
its hotels, shopping and vacation
areas, but above all thanks to its
casinos.
According to the 2010 census, the
city had a population of 583,756
inhabitants. Recent studies put the
population of the metropolitan
area at around 1,951,269
inhabitants.
Las vegas is as big as cabo cod in
united states.
At the time of 1829, in some low-
lying areas of the Las Vegas
Valley, there were springs that
created extensive green areas that
contrasted with the surrounding
desert where spring water was
abundant for travelers from the
west; hence the name "Las Vegas"
Las Vegas has a desert climate
with very little rain and extremely
hot in summer. Temperatures
above 28 °C are common between
the months of May to September.
It is not strange that for several
days a year these temperatures
exceed 40 °C. City residents
prefer to use tunnels,
passageways, cars or monorails to
avoid high temperatures. It is also
common to find fans that shoot
jets of wind and water down the
street. Winters are cold and
windy, with temperatures ranging
between 14°C and 3°C. Short,
violent downpours may occur, but
less frequently, in spring and
autumn. From July to September,
the Mexican monsoon often
brings significant moisture from
the Gulf of Mexico causing
thunderstorms during the
afternoon. Although the
mountains surrounding the city
can see snow from November to
March, it is not common for this
to happen in the urban area, but it
does happen some years, such as
the snow that fell on December
17, 2008.12
In Las Vegas, the houses are all
very similar.
They only have one floor
(although some even have 3), and
they are very modern, built in the
previous 35 years (remember that
Las Vegas was born in 1905
The majorities are white and dark
brown tones and they have a very
large garage.
But most of the people live in flats
in the center of Las Vegas,
because you can see all the city
from your house.
Most of the city's entertainment is
concentrated along the Strip, the
most famous avenue to visit in
Las Vegas and which you have
probably seen hundreds of times
in movies.
With more than 6 kilometers, it is
a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard
South and its approximate limits
are from the famous "Welcome to
Fabulous Las Vegas" sign to the
Stratosphere hotel tower and it is
the place where some of the hotels
and casinos are located. more

Another of the most curious
places to see in Las Vegas, located
at the end of Las Vegas
Boulevard, is known as the neon
cemetery.
In this open-air museum there are
more than 150 old signs and
billboards for businesses such as
casinos, restaurants and motels,
which remember the history of
this great city in addition to
delighting Instagrammers who
come to the city in search of the
best photo to show your followers.
