How much of a problem is ageism in our society?

Aging in people is a problem for our society because:

1.Many people when they enter the elderly begin to have depression
due to the thought that their life is coming to an end, so the rates of
suicidal thoughts increase in the elderly population.

2. The poverty it causes when the person who is the livelihood of a

family begins to age and companies stop hiring them because of
their age.

3. People as they are of an advanced age begin to have health

difficulties and weakness, causing them to become dependent on
their relatives and visits to the doctor.
Should we abolish the death penalty?
1. The death penalty constitutes a violation of human rights and,
in particular, of the right to life and the right not to suffer torture
or cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment.
2. The death penalty is not a deterrent. None of the studies
carried out has ever been able to find convincing evidence that
demonstrates that capital punishment has a greater deterrent
power against crime than other punishments.
3. The death penalty is discriminatory and is often used
disproportionately against economically disadvantaged people,
minorities and members of racial, ethnic or religious
communities.
